Please arrive at 9:45 A.M. on Saturday the 24th to check-in in time for the workshop to begin at 10:30 PM. Either print your ticket or prepare your confirmation email with QR code on your mobile phone. We will scan them at the entrance, give you your name badge and wristband. Be sure to bring this name badge in order to gain entry on all days of the event and to gain re-entry if you go off-site during the event.
We are working to negotiate discounts with local hotels. Please return to this section to check for updates.
For this event, there is only one ticket option available, which gives access to both days -- even if you can only attend one.
This also means only one name can appear on the ticket and it admits only that individual for all days. Ticket sharing is not permitted.
Participation in the costume contest is voluntary and not required. You are not required to wear the costume for the entirety of the event, but are encouraged to do so if it comfortable enough to dance in. Participants will be photographed for the judges and will receive their free raffle ticket upon photo submission for the contest. Separate contests will be held on Saturday and Sunday, and winners from Saturday will be excluded from competition on Sunday unless they are entering a new costume. Contestants have the chance to win in two categories: Most original costume and Best Overall costume. Winner is determined by a panel of judges representing Wine Country Line Dance. The raffle tickets given to contestants will be drawn separately and for a different set of prizes from our regular raffle event.
Bottled water will be available on site for purchase. Complementary light refreshments will be served. There is a convenience store within walking distance of the venue and a variety of restaurants in a 5-mile radius.
A number of unique items donated by local businesses and friends of WCLD as well as a cash prize will be raffled.
During the social dancing portion of the event, you may add your request to the DJ's list.
A 1-hour afternoon break for lunch and a 2-hour evening break for dinner are scheduled between the day's activities. Attendees are welcome to bring their own food and eat on site, or leave to a nearby restaurant and then return to the event. Note: During the evening break, music will be playing in the dance hall for those who wish to begin social dancing early.
Yes, you may leave the site while activities are in session. You will be provided with a name tag to prove your attendance was paid, and you will need that name tag to regain entry. Please wear your name tag at all times.
Yes, you can buy the ticket, even if you want someone else's name to be on the ticket. During checkout, you will be prompted to fill out the name of the person who will attend.
There will be plenty of free parking on site.
Yes, some items will be available for sale (merchandise, fans, shoe tubies, etc). Please bring cash or check for these items.
As with all WCLD events, no refunds are available. Transfer of your weekend pass can only be made by special approval. Please contact the manager, Dolly, if you need to request a change.
